## How It Works
Ophthalmic Ofloxacin is used to treat bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis (pink eye) and corneal ulcers. Ofloxacin belongs to the quinolone class of antibiotics and works by destroying the bacteria responsible for the infection. Prednisolone acetate is a corticosteroid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors, suppressing inflammatory responses while promoting anti-inflammatory effects. It has a relatively short duration of action, with a half-life of approximately 2–3 hours.
## Usage & Safety
### Dosage
**Adults & Children (Over 2 Years):** Instill **1 drop every 4–6 hours**, or use as directed by your physician.

## Indications
This medicine is indicated for the treatment of various eye infections and inflammatory conditions, including:
* Keratitis
* Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
* Blepharitis
* Corneal Ulcers
* Stye
* Uveitis
* Iritis
It is also used after eye surgery to help prevent infections and reduce inflammation, pain, and the risk of vision loss.
## When Not to Use
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to **Ofloxacin, Prednisolone Acetate**, or any of the other ingredients contained in this product.
## Precautions
This medicine may cause temporary blurred vision after application. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision has returned to normal.
## Warning
* Consult your doctor before using this medicine if you have, or have previously had, eye ulcers or any eye disease or treatment that has caused thinning of the eye tissues.
* This medicine contains **Benzalkonium Chloride**, which may be absorbed by soft contact lenses and cause discoloration. Remove your contact lenses before applying the drops and wait at least **15 minutes** before reinserting them.
* To prevent eye injury and contamination, avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye, eyelids, or any other surface.
